Used to be 5 stars, now down to 1 until they fix these issues. When switching between different lined pdf documents, the lines will often disappear and I will have to quit the app and restart it for the lines to come back. Even when selecting the utensil with the pencil, it often requires me to select it several times before it will write. Now each time I switch writing utensils, when I attempt to scroll with my finger, it writes instead of scrolling. Also, before with the apple pencil, I could use the pencil once with one of the mark up tools and after that my finger would only scroll. I am extremely disappointed as I don't have the time to manually change the color and thickness every 30 seconds while I am switching back and forth for work.
The only way around this I can find is if you pay $50 a year to save different writing utensils in the favorites. Now you only get one and you have to manually change the settings every time you want to use a different color. Previously you could have 4 different pens saved with different colors, opacities, and thicknesses. I use this app everyday for PDF annotation with my apple pencil. So pls fix these ASAP because there were a lot of data in download folder I haven’t transfer to iTunes files yet. Now while I’m about to write a review and I checked the latest reviews and I read that they couldn’t it or crashed like crazy i saw those reviews too. So I did exactly like pop up message says but j couldn’t open it.
However if doesn’t work at all so I leave it alone for a while and last few minutes ago when i tried open the app again and there was a pop up message and it says AppStore needs to verify the app to open the documents app, so connect to internet and open it again. I tried to open the app after clear my Ram, I tried to open the app after I restarted my iPhone XR, I tries to open after power off my phone and then I tried to open it again. And then this morning when I opened the Documents (7.0.2) I couldn’t open it. But last night I did the usual “update all” for my apps via AppStore along with the latest current version of Documents by Readdle (7.0.2) by the way my iOS version is (13.2.2). By far at this update I was still satisfied even with the changes in some areas.
And i loved the newest Document 7 with plus button (7.0.1 i think) when I updated last 1 and half week ago. Honestly Documents by Readdle was the best of the best in AppStore and also my most favorite app for many reason.
